November 05, 2024Auto Review: 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali UltimateWe love trucks and if you are looking for a big and luxurious one with almost every bell-and-whistle, you can stop right here with the new GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. You know when you have not one but two adjectives to describe upgrades in a vehicle that there is nothing else you can ask for.Listen to my full review here as heard on the syndicated "High-Tech Texan Show."...more6minPlay
October 31, 2024Auto Review: 2025 Nissan Sentra SRYou don't see a lot of new sedans on the road nowadays but Nissan (and maybe Toyota and Honda) keeps pumping them out in the form of the Sentra. The 2025 model comes in three variants and I recently spent a week in the top-of-the-line SR. With a starting price of $25,000, this is definitely one to consider for cost conscious buyers.Listen to my full review....more7minPlay
October 28, 2024Auto Review: 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEVYes it's a MINIVAN but I have to drive and review all types of vehicles because there are people who need stuff like this.Chrysler's Pacifica continues to be my choice when it comes to a double-sided, sliding door machine that schleps kids to-and-from soccer practice. But it does have a very smooth ride and the PHEV version gets excellent mileage.Click below to hear my full review as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" on KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more13minPlay
October 22, 2024Auto Review: 2025 Buick Enclave AvenirDo not sleep on Buick. The brand that your parents used to drive, well my parents still drive one, continue to impress me with a smooth ride and luxurious features. The Avenir badge adds several tech upgrades and don't forget the Super Cruise package for assisted, hands-free driving.Listen to my full review here as heard on the syndicated "High-Tech Texan Show."...more10minPlay
October 12, 2024Auto Review: 2024 State Fair of Texas Auto ShowMy 15th year of attending the unique indoor-outdoor auto show at The State Fair of Texas in Dallas and it did not disappoint.Very impressed with several showings, especially from Stellantis with debuts and reveals of the RAM 1500 RHO, all-electric Jeep Waggoneer S, and the all-electric (yes) Dodge Charger Daytona Scatpack.Listen here for my full thoughts as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" via KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more8minPlay
September 29, 2024Auto Review: 2024 Chevy Equinox EVDid you know Chevy Equinox has an EV version? Neither did I until my test vehicle was delivered to my home. It took me a few minutes to realize this was an Equinox, which has always been a solid gas-powered SUV. But after driving it I realized that this EV is a formidable option in the electric category.Listen to my full review as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" on KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more12minPlay
September 23, 2024Auto Review: 2024 Dodge Hornet GTYes it looks almost exactly like an Alfa Romeo Tonale, probably because it shares a lot of the production qualities from its sister company, but the Dodge Hornet stands on its own with very good handling and acceleration.Click below to hear my full review as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" on KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more10minPlay
September 21, 2024Auto Review: 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV EditionI don't hide my preference of midsize trucks (vs full-size trucks) as they are easier to maneuver and park. Plus I'm a guy who needs the full-size version as I don't really haul anything.GMC's Canyon has long been a great choice for a midsize but proves even better, stronger, and sexier when it's pimped out with an AT4X and AEV version.Listen to my full review here as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" on KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more11minPlay

September 12, 2024Auto Review: 2024 Cadillac LyriqCadillac = luxury, am I right? The venerable brand's first EV is head-turner in most aspects, yet a head-scratcher in a few areas. It is a mid-sized crossover though it is not as tall as most would expect a CUV to be. The details on the outside cause others to stop and ask questions while the inside is incredibly refined, quiet, and very futuristic. My full review is here as heard on "The High-Tech Texan Show" on KPRC 950AM (Houston) and iHeartRadio (worldwide)....more15minPlay
