Dave Junior cheers us up however talking about the House of Fun that is Guaranteed Rate Field these days, it's not all about winning but about the joy and does "the team that drink together win together"?

It's not such fun over at Fenway, although we Scots will be arriving en masse in about a months time, but Dave meticulously talks through where it's going well and where, well it's not going so well.

Richard and Alan catch up to chat Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers.

Rich retains his hopes that the Mariners continue to grind away and get back to form amidst a series win over divisional rivals the Astros. Mucg depends on a continued uptick in last seasons stud, Cal Raleigh.

Highlander Alan doesn't see the same hope with the Tigers, injuries, suspensions, errors and loss of form brings a reality back to is this the real Tigers despite the big off season signings. Que Sera Sera.

And then we had a chat about VAR in Scottish football and how American sports seem to manage video refereeing so much better. (We saved the more heated part of recent discussions for beyond this recording....)

The bases are loaded as all four Bullpen Bros catch up to discuss the big news and form around their teams.

Yorkshire Dave has some sadness with the main story of Alex Cora leaving the Red Sox. He explains who calls the shots in baseball and gives his wn tribute to Cora.

Alan and Rich see some green shoots of recovery for both the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers. With veterans and rookies making waves in the teams.

Dave Junior sees joy in the way the White Sox are playing and along with half of Chicago enthuses over Munetaka Murakami taking up "half the show" listing his season's leading achievements!! 

We also discuss the rookie start of Kevin McGonigle comparing and contrasting with Murakami and pose the question as to the advantages and disadvantages rookies have with MLB pitchers. Give us your thoughts?
