1 of my fave shows! Guest interview with Brains McLoud, one half of rap duo Silibil-N-Brains. The amazing story of how they fooled the rap world that they were west coast MC's, when in actual fact they were from Scotland! They went down to London to try out for a rap record label and got laughed out the building for having Scottish accents. So they went away & decided to reinvent themselves as Americans. Over the next 5 years they lived a HUGE lie & got to do rap shows with D12 & go to back stage parties with Madonna. Even conning Sony music industries out of £250k, before eventually coming out admitting they were Scottish.
Now back making music & have released an EP. The duo are immense freestyle/battle rappers & Brains recently won Battle of the day at the Don't Flop event in London.
