Coming up on today's show I caught up with up with Chelly Banqz. Chelly is one of the great young artists who is gracing the genre with rhymes and flows. She has released a number of impressive singles as well as her first EP Mood. You might also catch her manager jumping on at the end of the interview as Chelly asks him some tough questions!

Coming up on today's show we review the Westside Connection's Album Bow Down. The Hip Hop supergroup was formed in 1994, comprising of the legendary Ice Cube, Mack 10 & WC (pronounced Dub C). 

They released the single Bow Down in September, and it reached number 21 on the singles charts. This was followed by their debut album, also titled Bow Down which reached the number 2 position on the Billboard 200 in 1996. It also went on to go platinum later that year.

This was followed by their second Album Terrorist Threats which dropped in 2003 but the group did not last much longer after that ultimately disbanding in 2005.

Coming up on today's show I caught up with Sean Kiez. He is an artist, songwriter and owner of the management company The Formula Entertainment Group.

Raised in the church, Kiez was blessed with a strong ability to develop talent and a fascinating ear for good music. At the young age of 13 years old, he traveled to Los Angeles to meet with record labels. With things not moving forward from his west coast trip, he continued making music. He decided to put his all back into the music industry. He began managing legends such as Grammy Nominated artist JoJo of the legendary R&B group, Jodeci. He has also facilitated various brand partnership deals with for artists such as Blueface, G Herbo, Rich The Kid, Soulja Boy.

Coming up on today's show I caught up with Dreci. Hailing from  Florida she is one of the up and coming female artists that is gracing the industry with her flows, unique style and attitude.  After showing off her skills on Youtube with a number of Freestyles and Cyphers she recently released her Debut Album On My Way Reloaded which was followed by two singles Thief & Helluvit!  She is one to watch as one of the growing number of female artists who are changing the landscape of Hip Hop.

Coming up on Today's show I caught up with Trizz,  a self-released rapper based out LA. He became a fan of hip hip at an early age, first picking up a microphone at the tender age of nine. 

In 2012 marked a new start for Trizz, connected with Horrorcore legend Brotha Lynch Hung who not only mentored him but also took him on tour with the legendary Tech N9ne. From there his career sky rocketed as he collaborated with Chuuwee and has also toured with the iconic hip hop group the Cunninynguists.

Coming up on todays show we review Eminem's suprise new album Music to Be Murdered By – Side B (Deluxe Edition).  Similar to side A (which was released on January 17) this album was released without any prior warning on the 18th of December. 

It contains  sixteen new tracks, with guest appearances by Skylar Grey, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla Sign more. The week the deluxe edition was released, the album saw a 1125% boost in sale units from the previous week, moving 94,000 units. This brought the album back up the 3rd spot on the Billboard 200 album chart in it's 48th week, a 196 spot jump from the week previous, breaking a 50 year old Billboard 200 record previously held by Bob Dylan.

Coming up on Today's show I caught up with Reks, a legend of Hip Hop who has been in the game for over 20 years! Hailing from Lawrence Massachusetts he led the way with 12 Studio Albums and 7 Mixtapes, including his most recent Album T.H.I.N.G.S.

After releasing  12" singles and then his debut LP, Along Came the Chosen, Reks was nominated for Hip-Hop Album and Artist of the Year by the Boston Music awards. From there his career has only continued to gain momentum as he has worked with DJ Premier, Styles P, Alchemist, Hi-Tek and many others.

Coming up on Today's show it's just Aaron & Danny today as Matt takes a break. We review DJ Kay Slay and his track Rolling 50 Deep that's right we are reviewing 1 song! “Rolling 50 Deep” is a posse cut/cypher  which features 50 different artists who each with their own verse. The song is just over 18 minutes long, and serves as the 2020 sequel to Kay Slay’s previous song, “Rollin 25 Deep”. 

Because of the Epic nature of this track Aaron & Danny go through their Top 5 verses of the posse cut and see whether their choices match up. Who will we decide? Did you have the same picks as us? Only one way to find out!

On Today's Show I caught up with Amelia Cole  who, after growing up in Portland, Oregon moved to Miami to follow her dream as a hip hop artist. She has had the opportunity to showcase her talent on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Seasons 1 and 3  as well as music videos with Flo Rida, Movado, Ace Hood, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, Scotty Boi MMG. Recently she also released her first album “Classy Bougie Ratchet Volume 1” EP which contains a huge 30 tracks.
