In this second of chapter of Mortal Kombat, we dive deep into the 4 games that made a separate timeline and a major crossover with another universe. 2002’s “Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance” , 2004’s “Mortal Kombat: Deception” & “Mortal Kombat: Armageddon” all tell the story of the end of the initial timeline. 2008’s “Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe” was the beginning of the new generation of games on new consoles but also marked the end of the road for the franchise’s main distributer, Midway Games as they would file for bankruptcy in 2010 and discontinue all games for the time being.
