The Hoist

SYN is back in the ALWAYS LIVE SOUNDBOX - soundtracking your morning with live and local performances.  Hosts Owen and Marzi bring you a candid conversation before Mathilde Anne performs live, then Get Cereal's Bianca talks to Mathilde fresh from the box.  We’re so back and ready to give youth a voice.

An Australian artist whose music speaks directly to its listeners. When artist Mathilde Anne tells her story, you know she’s speaking for you too. Whether in haunting beauty, or lyrically shooting from the hip, Mathilde speaks her mind. Wildly writing from personal experience and feeling, her sights are always set on offering a sense of understanding and representation.

With 2023 singles ‘Crime Scene Cadillac’, ‘Way Up There’ and ‘To Be Honest’ showcasing Mathilde’s diverse and immersive songwriting capabilities, her upcoming album adds yet another exciting chapter.
