Hammer Metals (ASX: HMX) has just agreed to sell some of its interests to its neighbour Carnaby Resource (ASX: CNB). This will see the company put $4 million cash in its bank account immediately with the potential for up to $20 million through the sale process. The funds will be used to explore its growing copper inventory in the Mount Isa region of QLD. Hammer, already has a significant inventory in the region and there is plenty of scope to grow this further. Drilling is already underway and the company is also targeting gold at the Bronzewing region of WA.

DevEx Resource (ASX: DEV), is looking for high grade uranium in the Northern Territory. It has a large parcel of highly perspective land in what's known as the Alligator River Uranium Province. Previous drilling by DevEx has returned some fantastic results. The wet season is about to end, drilling is about to resume to extend that known mineralisation. Talisman Mining (ASX: TLM) has made a substantial discovery at the Rip and Tear prospect in New South Wales. Wide intersections of lead and silver with some zinc have already been announced, further assays are pending. Mineralisation is being outlined over 2.6 kilometres and it remains open.
