The Holiday features a pretty stacked cast that'd you'd expect to see in a romantic comedy in 2006, but then there's also Jack Black? It's curious casting for such a long movie. Does Jack Black fit into this movie about a dumped Cameron Diaz who decides it's a good idea to swap houses with Kate Winslet in the UK? He does his best that's for sure. This is also the first movie that we watched for the podcast with a reference to Chanukah! I also just realized, the holiday refers to vacation as well as referencing the time of year. Clever.
