Intro.: Anything and everything good that has happened in our lives is because of God’s grace! Sadly many whom teach about grace do not understand grace.

1. The O.T. law is also the grace of God. Rom.5:20a

Many teach as if grace was only a N.T. doctrine but it is also O.T.

- We would not know our need to repent if not for the law. Rom. 7:7

- God’s goodness = grace, leads us to repent. Rom. 2:4

- If we did not repent we would all perish. Luke 13:3

2. There has always been more grace than sin. Rom. 5:20b

- Sin has abounded.

• God’s word reveals the wickedness of sin. Ref. Rom.7:13
