Today on The Hometown take, Dylan gives the rundown of the Braves 9-0 win against the White Sox, Hawks winning 5 of their last 6 and could be moving up the standings and the Women's NCAA Basketball Final Four is set: #1 South Carolina vs #3 North Carolina State and #1 Iowa vs #3 Connecticut

Dylan opens up the show with some Braves talk as their season opener scheduled for today has been postponed until Friday with a 3:05pm first pitch due to inclement weather hitting the Philadelphia area. Dylan then reacts to a piece written by Ronald Acuna Jr. in The Players Tribune, where he details how he nearly gave up on his pursuit of baseball early on in his pursuit of landing in the Majors as well as how emotional he was after coming to the United States and not having family or friends around.

Dylan opens up with some Falcons talk and reacts to comments from Raheem Morris including on why the Falcons could not pass up on the opportunity to sign Kirk Cousins and how he feels about the team needing to address the pass rush position and whether they would bring in a veteran for the position or look to the draft at address it.

Dylan opens up with some Hawks talk as they comeback from 30 points down to pick up the 120-118 win over the Celtics with DeAndre Hunter leading the team with 24 points. Dylan views the win as fun win over a championship contending team and that it was good to see the Hawks not lay down and battle back for the win. However, he does not want to instantly say the Hawks are turning a corner and are about to go on a run but he does hope that they are able to build off the win and they can continue to play with the same effort.

Dylan kicks off the show with March Madness talks and believes that as expected there was a fair share of blowout victories as well as some upsets and overall believes that the tournament has lived up to the hype and has been one of the more entertaining ones of late as he recaps some of the action from the first two rounds.

Dylan opens up the show with some Falcons talk and starts to focus on the draft he does not anticipate any more “splash” moves being made until perhaps once the draft is complete. Dylan then shares his thoughts on Mel Kiper Jr. and Daniel Jerimiah’ mock drafts as they both have the Falcons taking with Dallas Turner the No. 8 overall pick, which Dylan believes will be the case unless several teams attempt to trade with the Falcons to move up.

Dylan opens up the show with reaction to an article by Albert Breer in which he details how the Falcons had always been all in on bringing in Kirk Cousins and what the plan would have been had they not been able to land the veteran QB. Breer later reports in his piece that the Falcons’ contingency plans had Cousins not worked out was to then pursue Baker Mayfield and then heavy consideration on the top three quarterback prospects in the draft, which Breer reports that the Falcons inquired about the top three draft positions, however none of the teams were willing to move from their positions.

Dylan opens up the show with some Falcons talk as they announced on Monday that they resigned Kentavius Street and Dylan feels good about the move because he believes that street made an immediate impact after he joined the team last season, especially in the run game and helps with the depth of the defensive line.
