We watched Spiderman No Way Home, Ghostbusters Afterlife, Matrix Resurrections, and Licorice Pizza recently and noticed the movies of 2021 were a bunch of member berry movies where the movie critics were very biased and selective about why they loved or hated each movie. It made me realize that member berries have become a movie trope where a lot of even the best movie watchers can’t separate their personal bias and nostalgia in order to give a fair review. I think member berry movies are now just a genre.
