The Hoopsters is back for a new season and this year Bevo is joined by new co-host Jake Burfitt from the South Adelaide Basketball Club.

In our first episode for the season, we kicked things off with two of the biggest names in the NBL1 Central competition. West Adelaide Bearcats championship winning star Jasmin Fejo and Alex Starling from the South Adelaide Basketball Club who broke a 20 year premiership winning drought last year.

We also previewed the upcoming season and gave our tips for round one which begins this weekend and Tristan Prentice joined us to give us the key ins and outs for both the men's and women's competitions.

A mammoth Grand Final edition of The Hoopsters required one of the shows favourites to make her second guest host appearance for the year.

Southern Tigers superstar Mollie McKendrick joined Downtown and Bevo as well as all four Captains of our Grand Final teams to find out how their week leading up to the Grand Final has been.

We were also joined late in the show by a very special guest, not only making her first appearance on the show but also becoming The Hoopsters 50th guest!

Downtown’s daughter Mackenna, a huge basketball fan like her Dad and a media star in the making. Mollie then finished the show with a debut segment "The Mollie McKendrick Cross(over) Examination" where she fired off a list of questions at Downtown and Bevo to get their take on the season that was!
