An impromptu mix of vinyl from the amazing Moving Shadow Records!
I started off with some old Scientist on Kickin' went into some vintage Coxy vs Phantasy then decided to dip into my Moving Shadow collection and thats how the set rolled out!
I will do another longer Shadow mix soon, this is a nice sampler of their early releases though.

Good times this Friday in the nest, a nice mix of new Drum and Bass tunes with a few classics to round out the session. Casual, but a delight!

Today we toast the 30th anniversary of The Prodigy! One of the most important electronic music acts of all time celebrate their birthday so I bashed out a few of their classics in the first part of todays stream. I moved onto some 93 and 94 breakbeat hardcore classics before rounding out this Tuesday session with some 94 and 95 jungle classics.

Ever walk into a venue back in the day and been greeted by the sounds of the Bukem, the Conrad, the DRS, Blame, Nookie, Blu Mar Ten, Makoto, Pariah, PFM, Alaska, Future Engineers, Pete Rann, Axis, Intense Artemis, Big Bud, Rantoul, Seba, Nu Moon, J Laze etc? Tonight we toast the music of Good Looking and Looking Good Records. This is a brief sojourn through their monumentous back catalogue picked out of my record collection at random. 
This weeks 7 inches of love is a very strange number from an outfit called Yonatan Gat on the wonderful Joyful Noise Records. It's actually a CD with vinyl grooves etched into one half of it so you can play it on a turntable. Awesome! 

Another Friday night installment of The Hornets Nest for your earholes. Loads of fresh new DNB sickness from Hugh Hardie, Netsky, Rudimental, Koven, Jade, Cyantific, Tantrum Desire, Total Science and Gydra amongst others. I rounded out this session with a dig into the vinyl collection and pulled out some classics from Dj Fresh and Bad Company, Dillinja, Matrix, Ed Rush and Optical and Hive. I got really in the zone for this last part, so many great memories! This weeks 7 inches of love was from Pity Sex, a great band I loved deeply! Enjoy \m/

What the hell is going on here then? A couple of regulars in the chat requested I do a set of Eurobeat and 90's club more than once - so here it is! This was a super fun session working my way through some absolute club classics. We topped the highest stream numbers of all time during this stream, partially due to a raid by JTS - thanks brother! A big happy birthday shout to Sheriff Kevin out there stateside and bigup all the moist/bushpig gang in the chat who made this one to remember.

This episode of The Hornets' Nest is a mean one. IT'S GABBER TIME! The Hornet digs out some Gabber classics for this one with some early Thunderdome, Pengo, Ruffneck and Mokum Records. This was a fun as hell mix to do with lots of random banter in the chat and lots of absolutely mental music to go with it. Hakken!!!

This weeks edition of Mountain Terrace Tuesday was a dig through the piano hardcore days of old. The Mountain Terrace remix of 'Cant You See' by Jimmy J and Cru L T is confirmed for release on Kniteforce this week so we kick off the show with that! A few modern hardcore sneak peeks with a couple of Srav3r tunes, and a trip back in time to some very early Prodigy and Rachel Wallace. Breaking the rules we chat a little about the new Pendulum single, and todays 7 inches of love is by Dischord weirdos Shudder To Think. Big shouts to Dj Craze for popping in the chat too! 

Birthday time! It's a double header this week because I thought it was Tuesday on Monday haha. 
I ended up rolling out twice the moistness with 2 sessions mixing late 90's and early 2000's classic liquid funk. All vinyl from my stash and all absolutely polite smooth groovers. Kick back and enjoy this birthday selection of some of my favourites.
