On the show we asked listeners to share the animals they’ve saved, and the stories did not disappoint from a woman giving CPR to a raccoon, to a caller who rescued baby sea turtles heading the wrong way on the road, to someone risking it all to scoop up a butterfly before a truck hit it, and even a bunny that was brought back to life with mouth-to-mouth. It turned into a feel-good segment full of wild, funny, and surprisingly moving moments that showed just how far people will go to help animals.
