We were joined by Justin from the Wisconsin Auto Museum in Hartford, who shared some awesome history about the legendary Kissel Motor Car Company. We talked about how the Kissel Kar was built right there in Hartford and dove into some really cool facts about the cars and the museum itself.

Kyle brought the heat again with another round of automotive history, this time touching on some Daytona 500 history.

And of course… “Sh*t That AL Says” might land him in a little trouble—but it was all in good fun!

What a fun show this week on the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast! 

We kick things off with Ashley from RUNITWI, talking about their ambitious four-show schedule for 2026 and what fans can expect as the event continues to grow. 

Next, we step outside our comfort zone and dive into something different with Ethan Clark from D.A.M.N. (Driftless Anchor Mopeds and Nopeds). His passion, dedication, and deep knowledge of mopeds completely won us over—and we’re hoping to see them out and about this summer! 

Kyle jumps back in to school us once again with some automotive history, and we take a moment to remember the legendary Ed Iskenderian and his lasting impact on hot rodding. 

Hot Rod Beth brings us up to speed on everything happening in the car show world, and we wrap it all up with another classic segment of “Shit That Al Says,” where Al somehow turns islands into a full-on geography lesson—only the way he can. What a great night on Hot Rod Tuesday! We had the honor of sitting down with Ken and Scott from the Maui Classic Cruisers. Ken founded the club way back in 1974, and hearing the history and passion behind it was something special. 

Anyone who’s been to Maui knows it’s more than just a vacation destination—it may be the most beautiful place on earth. The native Hawaiian culture is incredibly welcoming, and as we learned, the only thing that makes it better is hot rods. We dove deep into what hot rodding looks like Island Style, and now we’re more fired up than ever to visit in person.
