The pinhole camera might be a simple way to record an image but letting in so little light makes for a fuzzy image. The teachers of the law had so focussed the law in the light of their own interpretation that they never received Jesus’s teaching of the Kingdom of God. Looking at 1 Timothy 1:3-11, majoring on the minors. What happens to our faith when we focus on the wrong things?

Jesus famously scolded the Pharisees in Matthew 23 You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel! Paul teaches us that we must focus on the right beliefs, for right beliefs lead to right living.
