The most important means of CELEBRATING ‘Christmas’ is NOT giving GIFTS to ONE ANOTHER; it is attempting to EXPRESS our awe and humble GRATITUDE for GOD'S inexpressible GIFT, through SINGING.

1. Singing EXISTS because some REALITIES are too WONDERFUL for God-CONSCIOUS beings to KNOW and merely TALK about.

Genesis 2:23 // Exodus 15:1-2 // 1 Samuel 2:1 // Romans 11:33-36

2. Because Christians know God, there are ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES to SING about His glorious CHARACTER and WORKS.

3. Upon HEARING the NEWS of God’s merciful PROVISION of the promised SAVIOR, Mary and the multitude of ANGELS alike burst forth in SONG. WE should too!

Steps Towards Financial Faithfulness:

1. SET Financial PRIORITIES TOGETHER.

2. COMMIT to LIVING GENEROUSLY.

3. GUARD AGAINST Financial IDOLATRY.

4. CELEBRATE God’s PROVISION.

Considerations for Conflict and Forgiveness

1. Is it a matter of SIN?

2. Always ASSUME the BEST of one another.

3. QUICKLY and GENTLY confront the issue for the purpose of RECONCILIATION.

Galatians 6:1 // Ephesians 4:30-32

”When either husband or wife is fallen into any sin, a mutual duty it is for the other to use what redress may be of that sin; as if one of them were wounded, the other must take care for the healing of that wound.” – William Gouge

4. MEDITATE on the GOSPEL and FORGIVE as Jesus FORGIVES.

Other Considerations on Forgiveness:

Forgiveness is not EXCUSING SIN.

Forgiveness is not FORGETTING.

Forgiveness is purposed to DISPLAY the GOSPEL for the GLORY of GOD.

Like Daniel, our spiritual GROWTH and UNDERSTANDING of God’s will DEEPEN as we CONSISTENTLY SEEK Him through His WORD and DESPERATE PRAYER.

God HEARS and RESPONDS to the PRAYERS of His people out of His great LOVE for us, providing HOPE and DIRECTION when we call on Him.

Biblical APOCALYPTIC prophecy is more about theological COMFORT and spiritual PREPAREDNESS than chronological CERTAINTY.

Over and ABOVE all of the EVIL powers at work in human history, we have a SOVEREIGN GOD who is in CONTROL and who will bring perfect JUDGEMENT to pass.

Revelation 11:15-18 // 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10

“To say that God is sovereign is to declare that He is the Almighty, the Possessor of all power in heaven and earth, so that none can defeat His counsels, thwart His purpose, or resist His will.” — A.W. Pink

There will come a day when the world’s satanic REBELLION against God will CULMINATE into a CRISIS point for God’s people; the most powerful rulers of the world will WAGE WAR against the church - but then JESUS shows up to SAVE them by decisively ENDING the war and to set up His ETERNAL Kingdom.
