Today we're broadcasting from the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven as we're honoring our Service Members on Veteran's Day. We kicked off the show talking with Matt Cook who is the VP of Community Relations for Lake Michigan Credit Union. He and Huge talked about the impact of Folds of Honor and American Dunes, talked about some of the great ways they connect with our Veterans and the Community, and Matt told us that LMCU will be donating $5,000 to Folds of Honor. We then played an interview Huge had with Lt. Colonel Dan Rooney who started American Dunes and Folds of Honor. He and Huge talked about how it all began, told us a cool story about how Folds of Honor helped a family, and much more. We wrapped up the hour with Bob Partridge and Gretchen Tellman who are Board Members for LMCU. They talked about the impact that American Dunes has had on them, told us about their connection to Golf, talked about LMCU and their core values, and much more. In our second hour, we thought it would be fitting to play some Gold Star interviews so we could honor a couple of guys who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. We were first joined by David Warsen Sr. as he talks about his son David Warsen Jr. We then played our Gold Star interview with Lucas Smith, who told us all about his brother Ross Smith. In our final hour, we were joined by former Michigan Basketball Head Coach John Beilein and Josh Garvey from Doeren Mayhew for our weekly "Talking Hoops" segment. Huge, John, and Josh talked about how great the Pistons have been playing as they're currently in 1st place in the Eastern Conference, previewed tonight's Michigan/Wake Forest Game, gave their thought's on Michigan State's win over Arkansas, and more. We then played another Gold Star interview as Huge spoke with Jamie Kline who told us about her brother-in-law Matthew Webber, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.
