Today, we're broadcasting from Hope College as they've helped raise money alongside the Van Andel Institute for Cancer and Parkinson's research. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great Coaches and players from Hope to talk about their respective sport and how their season is going. We were also joined by some of our great guests to talk about the Lions, Michigan and Michigan State, and more. We kicked off the show talking with Hope Football's Head Coach Peter Stuursma. He talked about how his team has been playing this season, talked about the importance of culture and having the right people around you, and more. Eric Edholm from NFL.com then joined us to talk about the Lions. He and Huge previewed Sunday's game against the Eagles, gave their thought's on how it goes, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Greg Mitchell who is Hope Men's Basketball Head Coach. He talked about motivates him, the biggest difference between D3 and the higher levels, talked out the Purple Community game they're doing, connection to the community, and much more. In our second hour, Chris Balas from theWolverine.com joined us. He and Huge previewed this weekend's game against Northwestern, talked about the current strengths and weaknesses the team currently has, looked ahead on the schedule, and much more. We were then joined by Al Karsten from Pride of Detroit. He and Huge talked about some of the impressive number that the Lions have put up this season, talked about where they rank amongst the other NFL teams, and more. We were then joined by John Maakaron from Sports Illustrated and the Detroit Sports Podcast. He gave us his thought's on what the Lions need to do to beat the Eagles this weekend, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by former Detroit Lion Lomas Brown and Josh Garvey from Doeren Mayhew for our weekly "Inside the Lions" segment. During that time - Huge, Lomas, and Josh gave us their thought's on that dominant performance over the Commanders, they talked about how the Lions and the Eagles stack up against each other, discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the Lions currently, gave their predictions on the game, and much more. We were then joined by Jacob Pardonnet who is the Defensive Coordinator for Hope Football. He and Huge talked about how the season is going for the team, talked about the connection Hope has with the community, and much more. We were then joined by Travis Myers who is a Senior on the Hope Football team. He talked about how well the team is doing, talked about the keys to bonding between the guys, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Hope Head Women's Basketball Coach Brian Moorehouse. He filled in on his team, talked about what goes into making a winning program, and so much more.
