Today we're broadcasting from the Michigan High School Athletic Association offices in East Lansing as they prepare for a big weekend at Ford Field for the High School Football State Championships. Throughout the entire show, Huge was joined by Mark Uyl, who is the Executive Director of the MHSAA. During that time, Mark and Huge previewed all of the big games at Ford Field this Friday and Sunday, talked about how you can watch them, they gave their thought's on the Detroit Lions, and so much more. We kicked off the show talking with Mark's son Grant Uyl. He told us about his journey to joining the Air Force Academy and playing Football for them last year, told us what made him want to do that, talked about the similarities between sports and the Armed Forces, and more. We were then joined by Greg Heeres to get his thought's on the Lions/Packers tomorrow. He and Huge talked about what the keys are to winning that game, what improvements they'd like to see in that game, and more. News broke right before the second hour that Frank Ragnow will be returning to the Lions! Scott Bischoff from the Detroit Lions Podcast joined us to talk about his reaction to the news. He and Huge also talked about how helpful it's going to be to have Frank back, they previewed tomorrow's game against the Packers, and much more. We were then joined by Buck Geno who calls Football games for our affiliate 96.1 the Game in Grand Rapids. He and Huge talked about some of the High School Football match-ups this weekend, talked about some of the guys to keep an eye out for, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by former Detroit Lion Lomas Brown and Josh Garvey from Doeren Mayhew for our weekly "Inside the Lions" segment. During that time - Huge, Lomas, and Josh gave us their thought's that tight win over the New York Giants, they talked about how the Lions and the Green Bay Packers stack up against each other, discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the Lions currently, gave their predictions on the game, and much more.
