Today on the show, we're talking about Michigan and Michigan Athletics, Hockey, the Detroit Lions, and more as we were joined by some of our great guests. We kicked off the show talking about Michigan Football as Chris Balas from theWolverine.com joined us. He and Huge talked about this weekend's match up with Washington, talked about what improvements they'd like to see, talked about how Sherrone Moore has coached so far, and much more. We were then joined by Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal. He and Huge talked about Michigan State's loss to UCLA, gave their thought's on if Jonathan Smith is on the hot seat, talked about what he needs to do to turn it around, and much more. In our second hour, we were joined by Dan Watson who is the Head Coach of the Grand Rapids Griffins. The Griffins 30th season just kicked off, so Dan joined us in studio to talk about the Griffins in the off-season, talked about some of the new guys on the squad as well as some of the returning guys, discussed some of the Hockey storylines heading into the season, talked about how the Red Wings have looked so far, and so much more. We were then joined by Scott Bischoff from the Detroit Lions Podcast. He gave us his thought's on how the Lions looked in that loss to the Chiefs, gave his thought's on how Monday's game against Tampa Bay goes, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by former Detroit Lion Lomas Brown and Josh Garvey from Doeren Mayhew for our weekly "Inside the Lions" segment. During that time - Huge, Lomas, and Josh gave us their opinions on how the Lions looked in that loss to the Chiefs Sunday night, talked about all of the injuries and improvements they would like to see, talked about some of the stand-out players, gave their thought's on how Monday's game against Tampa Bay goes, and more. We wrapped up the show talking with Andrew Grashuis so he could tell us about the East Grand Rapids Harvest Festival this weekend. He filled us in on some of the great food and beverages you can find at the Harvest Festival, told us about the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House, and more.
