Today we're broadcasting from the Kirk Gibson Center in Farmington Hills as they're celebrating their Grand Opening today. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great folks connected to the Kirk Gibson Center so we could hear all about how they're fighting Parkinson's. We also talked about the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Michigan and Michigan State Football, and more as we were joined by some of our great guests. Throughout our first hour, we were joined by Mitch Lyons as well as Kirk Gibson's son Cam. Cam filled us in on the journey of getting the Center together, told us about their mission to help people with Parkinson's, and more. Huge, Cam and Mitch also talked all about how the Tigers looked in the first two games of the Seattle series, gave their thought's on how the rest of the series goes, and more. In our second hour, Huge and Mitch had the opportunity to talk to Steve Annear who is the CEO of the Kirk Gibson Foundation. He told us his connection with Kirk Gibson and how he became a part of the Foundation, talked about scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro as an amputee, talked about the fundraising aspect behind that climb, and much more. We were then joined by Jeremy Reisman from Pride of Detroit so he, Mitch and Huge could talk about that win over the Bengals. They talked about what they liked in that game as well as what needs improvement, Jeremy updated us on the injuries, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by the one and only Kirk Gibson so we could hear about his journey with having Parkinson's. He told us about how his center got started up, talked about their mission in trying to help people with Parkinson's, talked about the importance of being active and staying occupied when having Parkinson's, told us about some of the classes they offer, discussed our Detroit Tigers, and so much more. We were then joined by Dan Hasty who is the voice of the West Michigan Whitecaps. He gave us his thought's on the Tigers/Mariners series, gave us his prediction on how the rest of it goes, and more.
