Today on the show, we're talking about the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and more as we were joined by some of our great insiders. Throughout our entire first hour, we were joined in studio by our Tigers/Lions insider Greg Heeres. During that time, he and Huge talked about how the Lions looked in game one against the Packers, previewed this weekend's game against the Bears, they broke down our Detroit Tigers and how they've looked lately, gave their opinions on what this team still needs to get to the World Series, and more. We were also joined by Lou Canellis from Fox Chicago so he and Huge could talk about the Lions/Bears. Lou gave us his first impressions on how the Bears and Ben Johnson looked in their first game of the season, previewed this weekend's game between the Lions and Bears, and more. Alex Urban from the "Eat 'em Up: Detroit Tigers Podcast" then joined us. He and Huge talked about how the Tigers looked in that win over the Yankees, gave their thought's on the pitching and hitting, and more. We were joined by Eric Edholm from NFL.com in our second hour so he and Huge could talk about storylines surrounding the NFL. Huge and Eric talked about how the Lions looked in the game against the Packers, they went through some of the other big games from this past weekend, gave their thought's on some of the better looking teams right now, and more. John Maakaron from the Detroit Sports Podcast and Sports Illustrated then joined us to talk about the Lions. He updated us on a couple of injuries on the team as well as a few players that are coming back, gave his thought's on how the Lions looked in that loss to the Packers, and much more. In our final hour, we were joined by former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal so he and Huge could talk about the Detroit Tigers. He and Huge talked about how the Tigers looked in that win over the Yankees last night, talked about Casey Mize and how his pitching has looked recently, gave his thought's on how the hitting has been lately, and much more. We were then joined by Adam Jaksa, who is the voice of CMU Football. He and Huge talked about how CMU has looked in their first two games, Adam gave his thought's on how CMU will do in the Big House on Saturday as they take on Michigan, he told us about some of the players to keep an eye on, and much more. We wrapped up the show talking with Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant. He filled us in on all of the great shows and promotions they have to offer.
