Today the show is being hosted by our good friend Ben Bosscher from our affiliate 100.9 the Mitt in the Great Lakes Bay Region. It's officially Dow Championship - so we were joined by some of the great folks connected to Dow to talk about this week's tournament. Huge will also be hosting the Rock the Block party in Downtown Midland tonight from 6-9, so make sure you stop out! Throughout the show Ben is talking about the Detroit Tigers the NBA Finals and more as he was joined by some of our great guests. We kicked off the first hour talking about the Tigers as Chris Castellani from the "Chris and Company Podcast" joined us. He and Ben talked about the recent slump that this team has been in, gave their thoughts on weaknesses that need to be fixed, talked about some players and the impact they've had this season, and much more. In our second hour, we were joined by Scoop Jackson from ESPN Chicago so he and Ben could talk about the Oklahoma City Thunder winning the NBA Finals. They talked about what they liked most from these Finals, talked about Haliburton getting hurt being one of the main storylines of these finals, talked about the intensity level of these Finals, and much more. We wrapped up the hour talking with Jesse Fletcher from the Humane Society of Midland County. She told us about their connection with the Dow Championship, talked about how you can get involved with the Humane Society - whether it be through donating or volunteering, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by Dan Hasty who is the voice of the West Michigan Whitecaps. He and Ben talked about how Max Clark and Kevin McGonigle have been playing for the Whitecaps, talked about how the Tigers have looked and what worries them about this team moving forward, and more. We wrapped up the show talking to Sera Henry from HATS (Humane Animal Treatment Society.) She talked about their connection to the Dow Championship, told us what HATS is all about, told us how you can foster or volunteer, and more.
