Warwick founded the GBGC in 1998 and has since been the largest and most credible international gambling consultancy in the world.

Warwick has been involved in the gambling industry since 1966, running his family-owned betting shops. He was chairman of the Association of British Bookmakers (2001 to 2012) and a member of the Horserace Betting Levy Board (2001 to 2007).
