Even if you have never experienced a loss or grief, I am sure we can all agree that stress and changes can be hard to deal with sometimes. The last few years have been a constant state of change and it can be hard to deal with all of the changes. A person’s early 20s are a hard time because there is angst, discovery, unpredictability and a sense of self-realization. It's the time we truly leave childhood behind and enter a whole new world of responsibility. It's also a time that demands quick decisions about careers, relationships, finances and a lot more.

In this episode we talk about a few ways I have learned to deal with these constant changes and grief and things you can do to help with this as well.

They will talk about their most memorable experiences, opportunities, struggles, future and advice they would tell their younger self. Sports will teach you so many lessons. Just because you may be finished with sports, doesn't mean these lessons and experiences are finished as well. You can always “Live life like an athlete”. This means being passionate, setting goals, working hard, working on your mindset and celebrating your wins. An athlete is not a superhuman or better than anyone else. An athlete is someone who believes in themselves and their ability to constantly improve. They set realistic goals, they surround themselves with the right people, and they stay the course through tough times. Live life like an athlete and you will succeed.

This episode will highlight just a few of the large life changes that happen when you are done with your athletic career. We will dive into some of these changes and explore ways to help handle these transitions. 

This episode will dive deeper into my experience playing D-1 sports and touch on some of the crazy changes that happen once you are done playing. 

Everyone wants to know what the hell is coming next right? What will your life look like in 5 years, what will you have for dinner, etc. However, we all know it is not possible to see into the future. This is why I am making this podcast. Together we will talk about the ups and the downs of life and how to deal with the every changing environment you are in and all of the challenges and changes that are thrown in your way. Life is challenging but its full of amazing adventures and if we allow ourselves to open up and be ready for whats next, life can be pretty dang incredible!
