Max Borders shares his vision for creating new protocols and decentralized systems that enable true self-governance and human freedom. Drawing inspiration from the ideals of "consent of the governed" and "subversive innovation" Max outlines three fundamental features of the type of society he envisions: low transaction costs (less intermediaries), high predation costs (costly to exploit others), and low switching costs (easy to move from one government/system to another).

He discusses the concept of "asymptotic anarchism" - an approach to gradually move society towards a condition of rules without rulers through entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and individual responsibility. Max also explores the idea of reviving "mutual aid societies" and civil associations as voluntary governance systems aligned with people's values.
