WELCOME ABOARD! In this episode, we have a light hearted conversation with Ruben who suffers from Friedreich's Ataxia, which is a relatively rare inherited condition of the nervous system characterised by the gradual loss of coordination, affecting the the parts of the body that consume the most energy, including the heart, muscles and brain. Ruben is an extraordinarily brave individual who instead of laying down and allowing depression to set in, instead has chosen to not only take on his physical rehabilitation, but has also (at great self sacrifice) put himself in a position to be able to help others in out community. An inspiring episode!
