In the following sermon, we'll explore how Jesus' empathy and compassion for sinners can bring comfort and hope to our own struggles. By examining his humanity on display in John's Gospel, we can see how he identifies with our emotions and experiences, especially in times of grief and loss. In John 11:28-37, we witness Jesus weeping with those who are mourning, demonstrating his solidarity with us in our pain. This passage reminds us that we have a God who not only understands our struggles but is also faithful to listen to our prayers and comfort us in our times of need.
