“Charles and Laura finally convince Caroline that Laura is old enough to accompany Charles on a hunting trip. They meet some friendly trappers on the way and everything seems to be going well until Charles is shot. It is up to Laura to get help to save his life as she tries to convince a blind trapper to help her contact Mr. Edwards in order to get a doctor for Charles who is left alone and bleeding to death.”
