The Prendercast Network presents The Weekly Watchlist, a pop culture ramble.
There's still no football - or live streams, annoyingly - but we're edging closer to both.
Intending to broadcast live, we were sadly beset by technical issues, but the show must go on!
Round One went ahead behind closed doors and two of the three hosts channel the league's 'The Show Must Go On' mantra to review Thursday night's opening act. Sean and Tim convene without Fabaghanoush to talk the AFL's Coronavirus measures, Carlton's build-up, our poor start and fightback. We chat the Club's plans for Membership reimbursments, those who impressed against the Tigs and those with work to do. There's a re-cap of the first round of Prenda Award nominees as we crown a player, goal, mark and one percenter of the day, before turning our attention to the girls' finals campaign.
Sean, Tim and Fab are back to reflect on Carlton's Marsh Community Series ups and downs, the impending Corona panic engulfing the world and soon to envelope the AFL and the implications of a shut down for Clubs, fans and everyone in between. There's chatter about recreational sports retirements and whether it's time to call it a day, Tim compiles his second top 10 list of the season and the girls' big season rolling on in the AFLW.
Tim, Fab and Sean reconvene for a new week to digest our Marsh Series match in Mandurah, this week's IKON Park homecoming aginast the Lions and the girls' best win since the AFLW's inception. There's further talk of the Corona Virus panic, record membership numbers and paying 105% of the cap.
Three becomes four this week, as Sean, Tim and Fab welcome very special guest Terry Dehghani to talk our Marsh Series opener, this week's AGM and the girls' season to date. Then we conduct a watch along of the last quarter of our stirring 2013 Elimination Final win over Richmond. It might be good... it might not!
Tim, Fab and Sean ventured to IKON Park for the Club's first hitout in anger of the 2020 campaign, discussing the the major talking points and highlights of Thursday's clash with Collingwood. Further, there's talk of our 2020 leadership group, big Kreuz's minor setback, the Bushfire Relief match and our AFLW girls.
It's 2020 and the AFL season is very nearly here! Sean, Fab and Tim are back to preview all things Navy Blue, from our best 22 to the burning questions, our predications for the campaign to come, what we hope to see and the players who'll be the keys to getting there.
