Living in the world, but not conforming to the ways of the world is a Biblical principle that is woven all throughout Scripture. The question is, how? How do we do it? How do we love the people of the world but not love the ways of the world? How do we exist within the constructs of this fallen creation, loving those who God has called us to love, without compromising our standards and way of life?

We've all been there. You're lying in bed, scrolling social media on your phone when those pesky algorithms push a video in front of your eyes of a young charismatic christian completely tearing down some well known, "mega church" pastor and using terms like "false prophet," "false preacher," "false teacher." After a few minutes, you find yourself drawn in and thinking to yourself, "this guys makes a lot of since! Maybe that man or woman IS a false teacher!"

So, what do we do with information like that? How do we navigate those kinds of videos that tend to sew confusion and some times outright lies? The Bible makes it very clear that there are and will be false prophets/teachers/preachers and that we should be on the look out for them. However, we must understand that just because we may not agree with everything someone preaches, or their methods in doing so, does not necessarily make them a false teacher.

Join us in this episode as we answer the question, "What is a false prophet/teacher/preacher?" Not only do we clarify what one is, but we also talk about how to approach the situation when you find yourself in the presence or maybe even under the leadership of one.
