In this episode, I talk to the CEO of the charity Starter Motor. If you haven't heard of Starter motor, they are a charity all about putting the next generation in the driving seat to understand how we got to the vehicles we have today. We must expose future car enthusiasts to the weird, brave and charismatic vehicles that make up the history of motoring. We need technicians, the frontline warriors of heritage motoring, to keep these cars on the road. I hope you enjoy this one, and if you think you might be interested in the heritage of motoring, this is a great place to start.

In this spark, Andy speaks to why he chose to take on the challenge of turning around one of Britain's most loved car companies and how he coped with making sure the company that his mum lived 10 mins away from stayed at the forefront of British car manufacturing. I thoroughly loved this episode, getting the privilege to speak to Andy, and I know that if you enjoy this short clip, then the whole episode would be perfect for you.

I started this podcast to help inspire those like me who had no idea what to do with their love of cars, and I think these will help, if not inspire you, then give you information to help inform and guide you. A new addition to the podcast is these little sparks of inspiration. They might be clips of episodes or short messages from me. You will have to listen to find out. I hope you enjoy listening to these Sparks.
In this spark, Sam tells us how he is constantly learning and doesn't stay stagnant. He looks for new opportunities to level up his skills and take his creative talent to new mediums, videography or creating short content for platforms like Tiktok—not being afraid to try something new and give it a damn good go!
As always, thank you for listening!

Jamie Leech, Jamie has shown and opened me up to what it takes to become a mechanic at the highest level. The sacrifice he has made and the effort he puts into his work is unimaginable. When I picture mechanics, it's always the same sitting around waiting for the car to pull in because, after all, this is all you see on TV. The camera pans to a group of guys watching a monitor, and then for 5 seconds, they are moving around the car and then forgotten about. But this is far from the truth. The constant travel, training, and skill required to sit down and watch a monitor is immense, and it is through getting to know Jamie that I can appreciate that even more. I hope you enjoyed the episode, and thank you for listening to the 10th episode of the podcast; it's a milestone for me, and I cannot wait to release more of these great conversations.

For the very few mini enthusiasts that don't know Tim, here's a great chance to meet the man that co-founded the best R53 mini club in the UK and possibly the world. The man behind the club is perhaps the kindest and most generous person I have spoken to. Tim knows everything about the community he has built, but he seems to have so much time for everyone, including his family. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Tim and listening to his story, so I would go out on a limb and say this is my favourite episode. If you're thinking of getting an R53 or a cooper s in general, the people in the R53 owners club would be more than happy to lend a hand in helping you find the car for you.
As always, thank you for listening!

I love the conversations with Team Hard and their academy drivers, and Daniel is no exception. Daniel's story of perseverance while dealing with chron's disease. Listening to Daniel speak really gave me a sense of hope and motivation to listen to someone talk about a career that he never thought he would have is awe-inspiring. Hear how his family found him and the culture of a race team. If this doesn't make you want to get off the sofa and start racing, I don't know what will! I hope you enjoyed listening to Daniel and me have a genuinely humbling conversation. I want to invite you to listen to another podcast or share this one. I am really enjoying this, and I would love to help increase the reach of these conversations and inspire as many people as possible.
