  • dark star (no lyrics, acoustic)
Dark star crashes, pouring it's light into ashes
Reason tatters, the forces tear loose from the axis
Searchlight casting for faults in the clouds of delusion
Shall we go, you and I while we can
Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds?
Mirror shatters in formless reflections of matter
Glass hand dissolving in ice petal flowers revolving
Lady in velvet recedes in the nights of good bye
Shall we go, you and I while we can
Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds?

  • A Wake in Time for Mr. D
Brothers jam for the first time in November 2018. Mr. D is a reference to Miles Davis, who employed John McLaughlin and John Scofield, both of whom I learned a lot about how to play like you don't know music when you do, and how to play like you do know music when you do not. I do a lot of the latter but a little more and more of the former as time goes by.
