Un-turnoff-able
Brilliant book, twists and turns in all the right places. Couldn't wait to hear what happened next.
you just will not see it coming
loved this book, the narration was superb and I was gripped by the story. It flowed at a good pace to secure engagement. an all round well written book matched with a great narrator.
Predictable and awful narration
I did not enjoy this story and Im normally not fussy at all will listen to anything.
The narrators voice was annoying and I dont know if that made the story worse it whether the story made the narration worse.
It's a grower!
I wasn't sure at the beginning if this was going to be a bit too typical chick lit for me (too much romance not enough substance). IT WAS NOT!
Gripped me pretty quickly and I've just spent the last 3 hours doing nothing listening to it because I needed to know the end. I never do that!
Disappointing
I've read/listened to a few Adele Parks novels and usually enjoy the story and characters. The Stranger Within was great... The Image of You was totally drivel; ridiculous, unoriginal plot with unrealistic central characters whose 'motivations' were akin to something you'd find on a terrible American soap opera... Don't buy it! I'm requesting a refund.
