When writing an effective VAWA declaration you should include 3 key elements:
1. Evidence of your marriage or family relationship,
2. Description of the domestic violence or abuse you experienced, and
3. Statements and evidence of your good moral character.
Your declaration should be written in your own words, should be descriptive and concise.
