The Impact Lounge

Shows in Canada, shows in California, intergender matches, homewreckers, Moose and Rhinos running around everywhere, IMPACT had a crazy weekend to say the least!

Your favorite hosts Trent and Jaybone are back to break down the August 2, 2019 episode of impact wrestling and touch on the Unbreakable special from IMPACT Plus! We also have a very special message from our resident scumbag, Kyle!

This was a very action-packed week of impact wrestling as every feud seem to progress in the right direction. Tessa Blanchard continued her quest towards the top of the card while Sami Callihan and OVE did everything they could to prevent it.

Eddie Edwards was not happy about Ace Austin making moves on his wife Alisha and he sure as hell let us know what he plans to do if this continues.

Can we really blame Moose for being unhappy that a Rhino has not only pushed him further down the card but also staked the claim of awesome animal nicknames on the IMPACT Wrestling roster?

Something is up with the IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Brian Cage but what? Unfortunately his title reign has been less than stellar being marred by injuries and the target of Michael Elgin. But as we go to Bound for Glory with Sami Callihan as the number one contender, can Brian Cage step up to the plate and retain?

La Wera Loca, the Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie manages to stay safe with title in tow but Jessicka Havok is on her way. However what the HELL did we see from Su Yung this week? Was she singing!? Was she casting spells!?? This is interesting.

All this plus YOUR listener comments on this week’s episode of Total Nonstop Impact - Impact Talk for Impact Fans brought to you by the Impact Lounge!

The B Side Podcast with BQ

Moose is pissed! Ace Austin is trying to wreck the Edwards' marriage, Rhino's back, and OVE has gold! Windsor is off to an insane start and Trent & Jaybone are here to break it all down for you!

Despite Trent being an idiot and putting on the wrong microphone setting they boys of Total Nonstop IMPACT look at the current stretch of tapings as the march towards Bound for Glory begin. Jake Crist has ended Rich Swann's amazing X-Division Championship run as OVE now controls the title. Will he soon be joined by Sami Callihan when he takes on Tessa Blanchard for the number one contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship?

Moose is upset. No, he's PISSED that he is constantly being overlooked after being the flagbearer of IMPACT Wrestling for years while others have gotten more ahead of him. He made sure to make his feelings known but question now lays at the feet of IMPACT Wrestling management, will Moose get a shot at the top?

Keira Hogan and Jordynne Grace now have Madison Rayne in the mix on their feud. Will the former 5-time Knockouts Champion be a guide or detractor during this?

Ace Austin had his d**k in a box but Stone Rockwell thought it moreso resembled a malnourished bird. What else can we say about this!?

Michael Elgin took our Brian Cage before their street fight could get underway but once again a surprise masked man made his presence felt on Elgin only to be revealed as the legendary Rhino! Why is Rhino targeting Elgin? Does he have bigger plans? What does Cage think of all this!

All this plus breaking news and rumors on this week's episode of Total Nonstop IMPACT brought to you by The Impact Lounge!

Results:

- Jordynne Grace defeated Kiera Hogan (8:35)

- Moose defeated Ray Steele (0:50)

#SLAMM17 #Slammiversary

Rascalz gone wild, Machine's Rising, Sociopath's in church! Just another day on the road to Slammiversary as IMPACT Wrestling inches closer to the biggest show of the year!

Trent, Kyle, and Jaybone are back this week to discuss everything that went down on the June 28th 2019 edition of IMPACT Wrestling as every feud leading to Slammiversary got a little bit of extra gasoline on the fire and kicked things up a notch.

Sami Callihan did the unthinkable then he sucker kicked Tessa Blanchard and then turned his dastardly baseball bat on her to leave her laying. Does the Callihan Death Machine have even more punishment planned for Tessa before their match at Slammiversary or will the Diamond have her revenge?

The Knockout's Monster's Ball between Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, Su Yung, and Jessicka Havok is reaching some very tough ground as despite any alliances being formed each competitor is gunning for the Knockouts title! Will Father James Mitchell be able to keep his squadron at bay long enough for the benefit of one?

The North - Josh Alexander and Ethan Page had a competitive match with The Deaners - Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake Deaner and while the Canadians came in victorious a little before Canada Day, The Deaners put up one hell of a fight! That didn't stop the Desi Hit Squad of Rohit Raju, Raj Singh and Gama Singh from coming in and ridiculing the loss later in the evening. This feud is reaching a boiling point and it's only a matter of time before it peaks!

The Rascalz - Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel challenged the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Champions LAX - Santana, Ortiz and their compadre Laredo Kid to a 3 on 3 match to warm up for Slammiversary. Not only was the match incredible but the result was equally as shocking as Trey made the pin to give the Rascalz the victory! The dispute following this was which 2 Rascalz will now compete for the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Championships? All 3 will now compete next week with the loser not being on the team. This should be interesting!

IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Brian Cage ignored doctor's orders (and F-5'd him for his trouble) and declared that he will compete at Slammiversary against Michael Elgin! Elgin didn't take this confirmation as mere casual conversation and took it as his chance to break down the Machine a little which he did before turning his attention to Don Callis! But as Terminators do, the Machine rose and squared right back off with Elgin to end the night. Needless to say this match of the titans will be one for the ages!

All this plus new clips, bytes, and parodies on this week's episode of Total Nonstop Impact - Impact talk for Impact fans brought to you by The Impact Lounge!

- The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) defeated The Deaners (Cody Deaner & Jake Deaner)

Didn’t IMPACT Wrestling leave the Asylum in Nashville? We thought they did but this episode had a Madman running around, a Devil making a deal for Knockouts being in Monster’s Ball matches, intergender warfare, a guy looking to kill off ECW legends once and for all, and torture waterboarding! What in the hell else is next!?

The road to Slammiversary is paved with some of the most insane attractions a fan could ask for as we head into one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year! IMPACT Wrestling continues the build to Slammiversary by putting together one of the most diverse cards with a something for everyone attitude. What will happen over the next few weeks can only be just as exciting.

We saw the return of TJP on this episode after a stint “up north” as he was the mystery opponent for the previously undefeated Ace Austin! Now before we (Manik) panic about Ace taking the L from a debuting guy, could this potentially lead to a longer term program between the two? Seems like a logical move as their in ring chemistry was top shelf.

Have we spoken about how insane the Knockouts division is right now? Lets break this down for a second. The Devil himself, the Sinister Minister Jim Mitchell is leading Jessicka Havok and Su Yung on a takeover of the Knockouts division straight from hell. Rosemary is a demon assassin who is on her own but has the Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie looking to make a deal with her. Keira Hogan is pissed off and no longer a nice person and wants to destroy her former friend Jordynne Grace. Tessa Blanchard is at the top of the chain and she is taking on the most sadistic son of a bitch in the company, Sami Callihan at Slammiversary, while Madison Rayne somehow tries to be friends with everyone and get a solid match under her belt. It’s bananas!

The IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Brian Cage made his return on this episode and it gave the show the kick in the balls it needed by having our champion back on TV! He immediately faced off with his opponent at Slammiversary, Michael Elgin after a grueling battle with Rich Swann and Johnny Impact. The visual of the two of them head to head has quickly become the iconic image of what will be the climax of Slammiversary 17!

All this plus soundbytes and surprises on Jaybone’s official debut show as a member of Total Nonstop Impact brought to you by The Impact Lounge!

Results:

- Tessa Blanchard defeated Jake Crist

- Madman Fulton defeated Eddie Edwards

- Moose defeated Tommy Dreamer

- Taya Valkyrie (c) defeated Su Yung (w/ Jessicka Havok & James Mitchell) by DQ to retain the Impact Knockouts Championship

Impact Star Rohi Raju of the Desi Hit Squad sits down witih BQ for an exclusive interivew

Holy hell (literally!?) there is a Sinister Minister on the loose and he has a wrecking machine with him...again! On top of that there is an Unbreakable Canadian running around looking to destroy a Machine like this is a Terminator franchise and to top all that off you have a sociopathic Killer picking off veterans and making a crazy bastard who talks to a kendo stick's life a living hell! In addition to that you had Canadians destroying ECW originals and rednecks fighting Desis. Needless to say, IMPACT Wrestling for the week of 6/14/2019 was nuts!

It had been a lonely place to be at Total Nonstop Impact for the last few weeks. Kyle was off in limbo, Trent had to go solo several times, BQ even tried to make Trent feel better for a week but it wasn't the same without the scumbag Kyle. It took some time, things had to heal and damnit we are back with the thickes episode in TNI history as Kyle made his triumphant return but we also brought back the lovable, the huggable, the guy you really wish was your uncle, Jaybone!

In what is already being called the episode of the year we go through it all from the June 14th episode of IMPACT Wrestling as not only was Kyle on-site for these tapings, we got Twitch perspective for a fully cumulative look at this awesome episode!

The road to Slammiversary is paved in blood as everybody on the roster is giving 200% and firing on all cylinders to build what looks to be the show of the year and beat out last year's amazing event!
