Jason speaks on his experience of being a basketball coach to both males and females, being a girl dad, the Mamba Mentality, and how we all can be more impactful in the lives of others daily. Jason has coached basketball for 30 years both boy and girl teams from ages 12 to 18. He was Assistant Head Coach for 6 District Champions 1993, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2007 and 2009. In 2009, he became the first African American Head Coach in history of New Castle sports. Jason Led the New Castle Girls team to 2010 District VII title (WPIAL) in his first year as a Head Coach. In 2011, he was Section Coach of the Year. Jason has Coached 17 players who have scored at least 1000 points, and many of his Former players went on to play at the college level.
