The importance of a Christian to go to the school of the Holy Ghost and experience some hard knocks in life if they truly want to grow in Christlikeness.
Ah friends, we all want to be a big time Christian, but we don't want to do the things that make it happen. Yes, if we want to become all that the Lord has planned for us, then we must undergo some tough times, with hard choices and a good attitude, waiting patiently on God's timing. For it's only in the tough situations that we grow and mature in our Christian faith, not in the peaceful and comfortable times. So, if we truly want to be Christlike, then let's make up our minds to go through whatever hard times the Lord allows with a good attitude, meaning little or no complaining, that we can come out victorious on the other end. That's being Christlike, for it's exactly what Christ did, and look at the overwhelming victory that He eventually wrought! We can do the same...with His help! Much LOVE!
