Gene Barr is the President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. He has over 40 years of experience in governmental and public affairs and business operations. He worked for BP America, Associated Petroleum Industries of PA, McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, and was a local elected official in the Philadelphia area.  Gene is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a degree in political science. He is a former board member of the National Civil War Museum and the author of A Civil War Captain and His Lady: A True Story of Love, Courtship, and Combat.
