Jesus said to ask and seek and knock, and He was very serious about it. The problem lies in what we ask for. We need to ask for what's in God's will for our lives, then wait patiently for it, for he never said when it will happen, just that it will happen. However, in our lustful desires, we ask for all sorts of stuff that's not in God's will, and when we don't get them, we get angry with God. Do you think He'll give us the ungodly pleasures of the world? No way! Therefore we need to know His will, and that comes from reading His Word, hearing it, and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Then we can ask for worthwhile godly things. That's the only way to get what we ask, seek and knock for! Much LOVE!
