The importance of believers not taking vengeance in their own hands when hurt or mistreated, but leaving it up to God, for He says that's His job.
Vengeance is mine says the Lord! And that's how it ought to be, but we are so single minded and vengeful, that many of us seek revenge in our own strength, instead of leaving it for God to do in His own time. And that's why sometimes our lives are filled with so much strife, anger, hatred and resentment. We refuse to forgive and leave the revenge to God. And believe me friends, our lives will never amount to much, in terms of peace and joy, if we keep unforgiveness in our hearts. And remember too, that the Lord will not forgive us our trespasses, if we don't forgive those who trespass against us. Much LOVE!
