Life is a complex affair, and the Christian faith, is no different. Though we can come to faith quite easily, because it's the gift of God, we then need to work out our own salvation, that's live the way Christ desires His followers to live. We need to learn Christ's word, study it, and then put it tinto action in our lives, meaning we need to grow up, like children, who first begin by drinking milk, then as they get older begin eating solid food. Likewise as we grow in our Christian faith, we must be able to handle bigger things, become more mature in our faith, for that's the only way to truly understand what the Christian life is all about and thus live it successfully.
