The Holy Spirit of Christ is our Comforter, Helper, Guide and Director for this earthly life. But He speaks in a still, small voice, and if we're not listening closely, then we won't hear His guidance and direction. However, with the amount of loud noise that currently permeates our world that's very difficult to do without the peace of Christ dwelling in our souls. Now Christ's peace is nothing like what the world calls peace. His peace is a quietness of spirit, a lack of worry and confident trust in Almighty God. And only with that sort of assurance and confidence will we ever be able to hear the Holy Spirit whisper to our hearts and show us the right way to go.
