The importance of knowing and believing that Christ is not only our Lord and Saviour, but also our Redeemer! The One who set us free from the bondage of sin.
Christ is our Redeemer because He bought back our sins from the bondage or slavery in which Satan had us enmeshed. Without His redemptive work, shedding His sinless blood on the cross of Calvary, we would never have been set free from Satan and our sinful behaviour, although sadly, too many of us still cling to those evil and ungodly ways. But Jesus and the Father LOVED us so much that they paid the exorbitant price to purchase our sin debt in full. And for that we ought to be everlastingly thankful and live for them with LOVE and obedience as our number one priorities. That's the only way to repay a tad of what Christ and the Father did for us. And please note that it's ONLY A TAD - if so much, that we can ever repay! Much LOVE!
