There are lots of good scriptures in the Bible that can be taken out of context and used for selfish purposes, but it's something we must avoid doing, because it does not bring true or godly success. It is a sin if we take the Bible and use the scripture found therein in a false or evil sense. It's like so many of the false teachers and preachers are doing nowadays; using God's Word to line their pockets or twist others to their false beliefs. Jesus and many other scripture writers warned about false teachers and prophets, who would use the Word for their own selfish purposes, and we're seeing that happen more than ever today. So please be careful in whom and what you listen to. Don't believe anything you hear until you personally check it out in the Bible! And if the Word of God doesn't corroborate it, then don't believe it! Much LOVE!
