The most important way to bless the church is through the Word brought to them. Paul in his brief time in Troas, on the Lord's Day made his primary focus among them the teaching and preaching of the Word. It was primary even over the Lord's Supper. Even Eutychus falling asleep and falling out of a window did not distract the Apostle, but it too even bolstered the saints in their faith.
