Being impulsive is a lack of humility. Impulsiveness can destroy you. “A person’s arrogance will bring him low, but a lifestyle of wisdom will attain honor” (Prov 23:29). You must understand God’s Word if you’re going to speak about Him. Think before you speak. If you’re impulsive you give Satan an advantage. Don’t run ahead of God. “A fool expresses all of his emotions but a wise person controls them” (Prov 29:11).
