In this episode, I reflect on the space between endings and beginnings… the season of life that existed between my first and second marriage. A chapter marked by travel, growth, loneliness, survival, and awakening.

In honor of  Memorial Day, I honor the people we carry with us — not only those we lose in death, but the versions of ourselves we leave behind through change.

I share memories from my time abroad, the emotional realities of navigating child support struggles and harassment, and how those pressures quietly influenced my decision to remarry. But beneath the practical realities of life, something deeper was unfolding spiritually.

During this season, I experienced moments I still cannot fully explain:

a vision of building a home with someone I had not yet met…
the introduction of what felt like telepathic connection as my stepfather communicated with me from his hospital bed…
and the quiet, undeniable knowing that he was preparing to leave this world.

This episode is about intuition, grief, transition, and the strange sacredness of the in-between spaces — the moments where life begins changing long before we have words for what is happening.
