A bit of a technical problem starting,, but it all worked out. We have a new artist who submitted, and we also have new material from a label of interest, and even play a wide variety of stuff too.

We start broadcast 162 of the independent spotlight with a feature track from Keybone.

Kehinde Oladele Arifayan professionally known by his stage name Keybone, is a Nigerian independent rap and hip hop recording artist, born and raised in

Lagos, Nigeria. Keybone releases "Your Number One" as the first single off his forthcoming album titled; "Going Pro, Vol. 2". Your Number One is a song

reaffirming importance and solidifying that the pole position belongs to nobody else. A groovy tune with clear statements of reassurance about how nothing

matters but Keybone's confidence in himself cements his status as the leader of the next breakout talents of this era. Your Number One has a conscious,

dance and feel good vibe, which will be available for streaming and download on the 12th of February, 2021.

On today's program, we are recollecting as we learn tragic news of one of our former DJ's, Jacob Sexton. I give a little of a history of Jacob's work here at the mix, as well as a bit of history of working for me. Then, we play various tracks that we may not have ever played by Scott Lawlor and feature some new material by The Gateless Gate as well. Today's program will not have much more talking, but I hope that you'll enjoy the music, if you knew him, its a recollection time. Enjoy!

End of program.

Today on broadcast 160 of the spotlight, we spotlight long form pieces, pieces of material that are 30 minutes or longer.

Due to the length of the tracks, we are not going to put them in sets because it would be one track per set and that doesn't make any sense.

We've got two long form pieces that are over an hour, and one that is roughly 45 minutes. Two are brand new to the collection.

Wings Of An Angel Exultant Is The Idol For He Will Judge His Divinity's Premortal Life In A Dance Of Illusionary Free Will 1:09:17

Wings Of An Angel How Insecure Must A Carcass Feel Underneath The Pressure Of Religious Rituals And Transillumination 1:16:02

Phrozenlight Suffie 44:55

Other tracks not included in the first three:

Robert Rich Moss Carpet, Sky Blanket 07:01

Red Sky Lullaby Red Sky Morning 26:04

The Red Sky album we take from is two tracks, but about mid form pieces between 10 and 30 minutes in length, and Robert's track is the traditional track between 1 and approximately 10 minutes.

End of program.

For broadcast 281, I play something I found on livewire I sent someone which has to be the best play by play of the superbowl even after the fact. Its a good one I think. Then after that, I'll play bunches of stuff from around the landscape including set 1 where we have a calentines various artists album. Enjoy!
